Costus Root SFE oil

This is our lab made CO2 super-critically extracted costus root oil which has many usages, including but not limited to skin care, aromatherapy, as well as perfumery.

Costus root oil is extremely rare to find and is IFRA restricted for use in perfumery, however, a lot of niche perfumery companies are starting to deviate from the self-imposed IFRA restrictions, as costus root was detrimental to a lot of the vintage perfume compositions of the 20th century, and was as important- if not more important- than things like deer musk and ambergris.
